Till Bey is a Ph.D student in the group of Paul Fransz at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. His research aims to understand the spatial organization of chromosomes with respect to genes and proteins involved in the induction of flowering.
Till has obtained a B.Sc. in Biology by the Universität Potsdam, Germany. For his thesis he examined the phylogeny of snow algae with molecular methods in the lab of Thomas Leya at the Fraunhofer IBMT. From the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany he received a M.Sc. in molecular and cell biology. During this program he worked in the group of Tina Romeis on the growth of the pollen tube in Arabidopsis thaliana.
