EpiTRAITS fellow at Department of Biometry and Bioinformatics, IPG PAS, Paweł Krajewski group
Dimitrios Zisis is a Ph.D. student in The Department of Biometry and Bioinformatics, Institute of Plant Genetics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IPG PAS), Poznań, Poland. His research focuses on computational and statistical methods for analysis of genomic data of Arabidopsis thaliana; on processing and analysis of data obtained in the ITN; on training in bioinformatics and statistics.
He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science, Department of Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.TH.), Greece, and M.Sc. in Informatics and Management (JPC IM) at the same university. His master thesis was entitled “Unification of Algorithms of Regrouping and Bathmonomisis biomedical and Pharmaceutical Articles of Pubmed” and was done with the group of Professor Eleutherios Aggelis. The research was focused on biomedical data, its aim was to describe the operation and the growth of tools in the search and recuperation of biomedical data through the dynamic use of internet and to create a new tool which will be able to provide a full and complex search of biomedical data for the user.
